Martha Cohen Stine is a named partner in the firm Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann LLP and has focused exclusively in the field of family law for more than 20 years. Prior to that time, she was a commercial litigator with a large Manhattan law firm. While Ms. Stine strives for amicable resolutions of family disputes and is excellent at the negotiation and drafting of separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, same sex agreements, custody agreements, prenuptial agreements and post nuptial agreements, she also has extensive litigation and trial experience in New York's trial and appellate courts, with an excellent record of success in her litigated cases, including well known legal victories in high profile cases. She appears frequently in the media and is often quoted as an expert and commentator on family law issues, and has been involved in many high profile matrimonial matters throughout her career.
Ms. Stine enjoys an AV Preeminent 5.0 rating in Martindale and Hubbell, the nationally recognized legal directory, signifying the highest rating for legal ability and professional standards of conduct and ethics, and has been consistently named a Super Lawyer and top lawyer in her field by Super Lawyers New York Metro.

She is also a member of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association where she serves on the Executive Committee. Ms. Stine is a trained singer with a strong connection to the theater and the arts. She sings with the well-known Blue Hill Troupe, a Gilbert & Sullivan troupe that supports local charities through its concerts and highly acclaimed productions of operettas and musicals. Ms. Stine is a member of two theatrical clubs in New York City, the Lambs and the Players.
